Final Informal Meeting

Feeling the end of the Project, CADDIES team and volunteers decided to meet once again in informal atmosphere. As volunteers do not plan to stop active work in their neighbourhood it is very crucial to support their network and meet in cosy company.

 
CADDIES project organized a closing ceremony for pilot areas in Helsinki

CADDIES team in Helsinki wanted to thank the active inhabitants and actors of Helsinki pilot areas before the ending of the project.

 
"10 new ways to create empowered neighbourhoods" - Latvian version had been presented

On the 2nd of December Latvian version of the CADDIES Manual has been presented in Riga City Council. 

 
Dance and music filled in the congregation house in Ringdansen

Activity group and local associations invited local people to spend a cozy November evening together and get to know what is happening in Ringdansen.

 
New place to see in the neighbourhood!

In the late autumn evening Project team gathered in the mysterious house of Eizhen Fink. In the cosy atmosphere with the melody of the violin the participants had a chance to return to the beginning of the 20th century and look at the development of the city and particular neighbourhood.

Cormac Russell and Putte Svensson-Sahlin demonstrated both in theory and in practice how important it is to believe on ones dreams in order to make a difference.

 
"Moscow forstate" as Riga’s singularity

The next Neighbours’ Party was organised by CADDIES team and Project volunteers. Due to nice weather all the participants and guests gathered in the yard of Maskavas Street 170/2.
